Increase in Crimes?
With a crime rate of 35 per one thousand residents, Littleton has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes – from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One’s chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 29.
Guardianship Security has seen the push from Denver’s homeless right down Platte River to south Denver, Littleton, Lone Tree and surrounding areas. As we work in Columbine Valley, we see them on the golf courses and there has been increase in crime. One homeowner did the wise thing and added us the patrol route, and now the neighbors have been victims, my client remains safe.
